i hate that city more than anything. going there is an utter waste of my time, i only had fun for about an hour, and that was because of the weather. there was one day that was great but other than that, i want the last week of my life back. THANKS.
burn in hell you shit hole. voted the most overweight city in the U.S., the ugliest city in the U.S., and the city that goes to bed by 9. what a terrible spring break.
no seriously that city fucking sucks. its not cool, its not hip, its not artsy. the music scene is a joke, people constantly use these adjectives to justify living in philly. stop trying to make philly happen because it never will.
go take your stupid ass bike that you bought with your tax return, lube it up with cheez wiz (shouldnt be hard to find because of the billion cheesesteak places) and shove it up your stupid scummy hipster asshole.
this reminds me of ali g meets summer heights high meets blood diamond meets flight of the concords. and whats with the dude with progeria in the video? i dont like all these dumb rich white south african kids whos parents supported the apartheid pretending to be afrikaners. sorry, not working for you blondie.
HOW DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THIS/ more importantly, how do people think that die antwoord is a serious thing? definitely a joke.
DO ANY OF YOU REMEMBER BEING 11 and watching mtv and thinking that spring break was really fucking lame? well it is. i am going to philly. fantastic. listen, spring break is such bullshit in college. you work your ASS off for a week for midterms, then you go home for a week. NO ONE ACTUALLY goes on vacation.
but like, i actually cant believe the early 2000's happened. satin pants that laced up? no. i just remember like, midriff tops and women gyrating to pseudo-club dance beats and like, flashing lights. also, the come up of glitter and hair wax. i just remember everyone had this whole "neofuturistic disco glam" thing going on. how post modern. instead of deriving inspiration from the 60s, 70s, or 80s, everyone looked to the future. i just remember every video from that era being set in a space ship or airplane with these giant rooms specifically designed for dancing in. like, no one has party jets im sorry.
and then 2001 rolled around and everyone did that whole "western thing?" oh yeah, and juicy jumpsuits. idk i just cant wait for people to look back at 2009-2010 and be like "oh so goth was cool?" i just wonder what people will have to say about gaga 10 years from now.
i like the idea of something existing without existing. that a word exists to describe nothing fascinates me. mirages can alternate between being and unbeing.
