DO ANY OF YOU REMEMBER BEING 11 and watching mtv and thinking that spring break was really fucking lame? well it is. i am going to philly. fantastic. listen, spring break is such bullshit in college. you work your ASS off for a week for midterms, then you go home for a week. NO ONE ACTUALLY goes on vacation.

but like, i actually cant believe the early 2000's happened. satin pants that laced up? no. i just remember like, midriff tops and women gyrating to pseudo-club dance beats and like, flashing lights. also, the come up of glitter and hair wax. i just remember everyone had this whole "neofuturistic disco glam" thing going on. how post modern. instead of deriving inspiration from the 60s, 70s, or 80s, everyone looked to the future. i just remember every video from that era being set in a space ship or airplane with these giant rooms specifically designed for dancing in. like, no one has party jets im sorry.

and then 2001 rolled around and everyone did that whole "western thing?" oh yeah, and juicy jumpsuits. idk i just cant wait for people to look back at 2009-2010 and be like "oh so goth was cool?" i just wonder what people will have to say about gaga 10 years from now.


this is the only thing i miss about 2000.
